肖维阳，西南山地签约摄影师，九寨沟摄影协会会员，环保高级工程师，同时也是一名环境教育师。 他从九十年代起对中国西部的野生动物，尤其是对九寨沟区域的水生生物、大型兽类和鸟类有着浓厚的兴趣，他在中国九寨沟保护区从事自然保护工作多年，有多年的荒野工作经验，同时有着丰富的生物多样性保护经验和强烈的环境意识。 他擅长用照像机记录自然现象，十多年来拍摄了许多有意义的照片，其作品经常出现在国内外有关九寨沟的旅游营销、科普宣传、环境教育展览会、期刊杂志与书籍等上面。他曾经发表过九寨沟湿地保护方面的科学论文，也记录过几个中国西部特殊的鸟种。他还与伙伴合作，出版了《九寨沟扎如沟鸟类图册》、《九寨沟生态导览手册》、《九寨沟》杂志系列等科普书籍。
Weiyang Xiao is a contracted photographer of Swild, a fellow of Photographic Society of Jiuzhai Valley, a senior environment engineer and an environmental educator. He has been interested in wildlife in western China since 1990’s, especially aquatic organisms, mammals and birds. He has worked on ecological conversation for many years in Jiuzhai Valley National Nature Reserve and has rich field work experience in biodiversity conversation. He is adept at recording natural phenomena with camera. For more than 10 years, he has taken highly important photos. His works often appear in tourism marketing, science popularization, environmental education exhibitions, journals and books, and more in Jiuzhaigou. He has published scientific papers on the protection of Jiuzhaigou wetland and has recorded several special bird species in western China. He also collaborated with his partners to publish popular science books such as the Jiuzhaigou Zharugou Bird Atlas, the Jiuzhaigou Ecological Guidebook, and the Jiuzhaigou magazine series. |
