张力，香港大学博士，深圳市中国科学院仙湖植物园研究员。长期从事苔藓植物调查、研究与科普教育工作，是有影响的苔藓植物专家。他足迹遍及中国大多数省区和七大洲的部分地区，尤为关注中国青藏高原和西南喀斯特地区、马来西亚和东非的苔藓植物多样性。编辑出版了包括《植物王国的小矮人：苔藓植物（第一版、第二版及中英文版）》《中国常见植物野外识别手册（苔藓册）》《中国高等植物彩色图鉴（第一卷）》和《澳门苔藓植物志》等十余部专著。其中，《植物王国的小矮人：苔藓植物》被誉为最好的苔藓植物科普读物之一。
Li Zhang, a PhD from Hong Kong University, is now a researcher in Xianhu Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Science in Shenzhen. Zhang is an influential bryophytes expert and has long engaged in studying moss and science education. His research areas include main provinces in China and some regions in seven continents, especially the biodiversity of moss in Tibet, southwestern karst region, Malaysia and East Africa.
